Welcome, Rebecca! The newest historical doll will be available for the first time at our Annual Benefit Sale. Rebecca Rubin is a 9-year-old girl living in 1914 in New York, where she was born after her Russian Jewish parents and grandparents immigrated to America.
The popular craft sale returns! All booth space has been reserved! A variety of handmade gifts and doll accessories will be for sale.
American Girl Fashion Show
Make it an American Girl® weekend! New this year to the Annual Benefit Sale is the American Girl Fashion Show®, hosted by Madison Children’s Museum. Join us at the Madison Marriott West, conveniently located near the sale, for one of three fun-filled shows for girls and their families, friends, and favorite dolls! Celebrate the experience of being a girl whether yesterday or today, through a colorful presentation of historical and contemporary fashions. Enjoy a macaroni and cheese bar, enter to win door prizes, and learn how clothing has changed over the years to reflect history, culture, and girls' individual styles.
Show times are Friday, July 16, at 6 p.m.; Saturday, July 17, at 3 p.m.; and Sunday, July 18, at 11 a.m.
Tickets will go on sale in May. For audition information, watch the Madison Children’s Museum Web in the next week. All models must be size 6x or 10. For additional information about the fashion show, please e-mail events@madisonchildrensmuseum.org.
