Addison: Dusk, July 4 at Community Park, 120 E. Oak St., preceded by 7:30 p.m. concert.

Antioch: Dusk, July 4, Williams Park, Williams and Main streets.

Arlington Heights: Dusk, July 3 at Arlington Park racetrack, 2200 W. Euclid Ave. $5 at the gate; $3 at arlingtonpark.com. Includes day of racing starting at 4 p.m., and live music. Free parking; children under 18 free with paid adult.

Aurora, North Aurora: 9:30 p.m. July 3 at Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, 1500 W. Sullivan Road, Aurora. Food, children's activities, comedy, musical entertainment starting at 6 p.m.

Barrington: Dusk, July 4. Best viewed from Barrington High School lawn, Lake-Cook and Hart roads.

Bartlett: 9:30 p.m. July 4 at Apple Orchard Park, corner of Stearns and South Bartlett roads. Music simulcast on FM 98.1.

Batavia: 9:30 p.m. July 4 at Batavia High School, 1200 W. Wilson St., Batavia. Food vendors open 5-9:30 p.m. Batavia Park District's Musical Showcase, 7-9:15 p.m. $5 donation for parking. Rain date July 5.

Bensenville: Dusk, July 4 at Redmond Recreation Center. Concert by Blood, Sweat and Tears at 8 p.m.

Buffalo Grove: 9:15 p.m. July 4, starts with 7 p.m. concert by the Buffalo Grove Symphonic Band and BG Singers. Best viewing from the Rotary Village Green, Buffalo Grove Golf Course or Willow Stream Park.

Carol Stream: Dusk, July 4 at Ross Ferraro Town Center, Gary Avenue and Lies Road 7 p.m. concert by Yard Fulla Cars.

Chicago: 9 p.m. July 3, Grant Park at the lakefront. The 85th Army Band concert at Petrillo Music Shell begins at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks soundtrack broadcast by 101.9 THE MIX. Viewing good throughout Grant Park and Museum Campus. Fireworks fans not allowed in to stake their plot of land until 10:45 a.m. July 3.

Crystal Lake: Dusk, July 5 at Main Beach, 300 Lakeshore Drive. Nonresident parking $5.

Des Plaines: 9 p.m. July 4 at Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road.

Downers Grove: 9 p.m. July 4 at Lemont Road and 75th Street.

Elk Grove Village: Dusk, July 4 at Lions Park, Elk Grove Boulevard and Lions Drive.

Fox Lake: Dusk, July 4 at Millennium Park, Grand and Rollins.

Glen Ellyn: Dusk, July 4, at Lake Ellyn.

Hoffman Estates: 10 p.m. July 4 on festival grounds, 1900 Hassell Road.

Rockford: 9:30 p.m. by Davis Park in downtown Rockford, IL. SkyConcert Skybox B103 opens the gates in Davis Park, downtown Rockford, at 5:00 p.m. for preferred seating to view the fireworks (Sorry No Food, No Pets, No Coolers Allowed inside Park). $6.00 Admission fee into Davis Park includes; Food and entertainment by the Missing Links and the 7th Street Saints, and the best seats in town to watch the Rockford 4th of July Fireworks Show!!

Rolling Meadows: Dusk, July 4 at Salk Park, 3699 Pheasant Drive.

Roselle: 9:30 p.m. July 4, Lake Park High School West, 500 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.

St. Charles: Dusk July 4 at Pottawatomie Park, 8 North Ave. Red Woody concert at 6 p.m. Free.

Sleepy Hollow: 9 p.m. July 4 at Sabatino Park, Winmoor Drive and Willow Lane. $5 donation to park. Rain date July 5.

Streamwood: Dusk, July 4 at Dolphin Park, on Park Blvd.

Vernon Hills: Dusk, July 4 at Century Park, one-half mile north of Milwaukee Road on Lakeview Parkway. Main stage: J.P. and the Cats. 6:30-9:30 p.m.; fireworks over Big Bear and Little Bear lakes.

Warrenville: 9:45 p.m. July 4 at Cerny Park.

Wauconda: Dusk, July 3, Cook Park, 600 N. Main St., Wauconda. DJ at 6 p.m. Free.

Waukegan: 9:30 p.m. July 4 at Waukegan Harbor, 55 S. Harbor Place. 7:30 p.m. Waukegan Municipal Band concert. Free parking, admission.

Wheaton: Dusk, July 4 at DuPage County Fairgrounds, 2015 W. Manchester Road.

Wheeling: About 9:15 p.m. July 4 behind fire station near Heritage Park and Community Recreation Center, 255 W. Dundee Road.
