Sycamore Public Library Programs

Sycamore Public Library

Family Lego Day:
Sunday, April 18, 1:30-3 p.m.

Our next Family Lego Day at the library is Sunday, April 18! Children of all ages come with your favorite adult and enjoy an afternoon of creating with Legos. Lego Day will take place in the large meeting room on the first floor of the library. The library will provide all of the Legos for this program. Please do not bring any Legos from home - they might get mixed up with the Library's Legos and get lost.
We have been accepting Lego donations for awhile, and think we have enough for families to enjoy a fun, creative program. Donations of Legos are still being accepted.

Cold Blooded Creatures Reptile Program:
Saturday, April 24, 10 a.m.

Jim Nesci brings five ambassadors from the reptile world to the library's Big Meeting Room. The group includes snakes, an alligator, lizards and a tortoise. Jim's message to conserve and protect reptiles is the focus of his show. During his presentation, respect and safety for the animals and participants takes front stage. The Cold Blooded Creatures Reptile program will last about an hour...long enough for everyone to see, touch and learn about the animals. A generous gift from the Mary E. Stevens Concert and Lecture Fund made this Earth Day Celebration possible.
Free, no pre-registration required.
