Newton Knew It

Newton Knew It!

This is part of the "Roll with Motion" program. Students will be actively engaged in science exploration and inquiry. Students will learn how forces and motion relate to skating and other activities. Students will be engaged in a variety of hands on explorations at several mini-lab stations. All students will be provided with workbooks. The morning will be devoted to instruction, lunch will be provided, and then the kids will be able to enjoy some skating.

Organized by: Beacon Homeschool Group (formerly H.E.L.P.)

Date: TBD - Either November 12th or 13th

Time: 10 am - 2 pm

Location: Orbit Skate, 615 South Consumer Avenue, Palatine, IL

Cost: $12.00 per student - includes the science workshop (with workbook), lunch, and an afternoon skate.

There is a minimum of 50 students for this field trip. (Currently there are 43 interested students.) The splitting up of the grade levels will be determined by the physics instructor when we get a head count.
