HOMESCHOOL MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM
The Home School Membership provides homeschoolers with used textbooks and teaching materials, staff assistance, student programs, and other services designed for them, all at minimal cost. Membership has the following benefits:

•Much lower cost per book than retail or used book sellers
•Access to book room on special days
•Assistance with book selection
•Preferential access to selected teaching materials
•Email alerts on book arrivals and upcoming programs
•Environmental Presentations for K-12 Students (The 3R's with Papermaking, Composting and Worms, Enviroscape Watershed Model, Groundwater Model)
•Help keep the Book Rescue open

HOW IT WORKS
Costs:
* $20 for 1 Year (family) Memberhship
* Text Book donation is $2 per book for members.
* Text Book donation is $5 per book for non-members.
* Members are invited to fill a bag of library books for a donation of $5 per bag (we will provide a bag)


Rules & Regulations:
* Members must fill out a registration card at sign up, including number of children and their ages
* Members must sign in and show their membership card before entering the book rooms on each visit
* Children less than 14 years old are not allowed in the book rooms, without exception!
* Limit of 9 visits per year per membership
* Limit of 10 books per child per visit
* Limit of 1 book of the same grade/subject/publisher/edition per child
* Books are not to be resold!


HOURS & LOCATION
SUMMER HOURS:
Monday - Friday
9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

LABOR DAY TO MEMORIAL DAY:
Monday - Friday
9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday evenings until 7:00 p.m.
The 2nd Saturday of the month
9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

THE BOOK RESCUE IS CLOSED FOR ALL MAJOR HOLIDAYS, including Dec 24,25, 26, 31, 2007 and Jan 1, 2008

They are located at 799 Roosevelt Road, in Building 2, Suite 108, in Glen Ellyn.
