To set up an audition appointment…

1. Email sfitzsimons@bartlettparks.org

2. Include the following information in the email: Full Name, Age, Phone Number where you can be reached, and three options for auditions.

3. An email will be sent back to you to confirm your audition appointment.

4. If, after making the appointment and receiving confirmation, you need to change or cancel your audition appointment please call 630-540-4834.



Auditions: Adult (14-99) W July 29 7:15, 7:45, 8:15pm Th July 30 7:15, 7:45, 8:15pm Sat Aug. 1 11:30am, 12, 12:30pm, 1pm

Youth (8-13) *you must be 8 by audition date W July 29 6 or 6:30pm Th July 30 6 or 6:30pm

Sat. Aug. 1 9:30, 10, or 10:30am

Adults (age 14-99) *Be prepared to sing at least 32 measures of a Broadway song, however you may be asked to sing it in its entirety. If you are auditioning for a particular role, sing that character’s song from the show or something similar in style to showcase your talent. *Come with the sheet music or an accompaniment CD without vocals (Karaoke disc is allowed). *Wear something comfortable! You will learn a short dance/movement sequence and then perform for the directors. Your audition will last approximately 60 minutes. There will be no reading at the auditions. Reading will take place only at the call backs if necessary. *Come with your audition sheet filled out and a photo attached in the upper right hand corner. (Photo does not need to be professionally done nor printed on quality paper…this is for reference only.)

Youth (8-13) *Prepare 32 bars of a Broadway musical or something from church or school. NO POP music. *Come with the sheet music or an accompaniment CD without vocals (Karaoke disc is allowed).*Roles for this age include NY street scenes, streets of Havana, and Mission Band. 10-20 youth will be cast. *You will be auditioning with a group of 7 other youth. NO friends or family may be in the audition room. Your audition will last 30 minutes. *Come with your audition sheet filled out and a photo attached in the upper right hand corner. (Photo does not need to be professionally done nor printed on quality paper…this is for reference only.)

Audition Form and Photo: A photo is requested to leave with the director (the photo need not be professionally taken). For questions call 630-540-4834. If cast there is a program fee of $52 resident or $62 nonresident which includes a production T-shirt, 2 complimentary tickets to a performance, use of the libretto, and theatrical experience. Audition forms are available on our website www.bartlettparks.org and in the BCC lobby.

Cast Posting: The cast for Guys and Dolls will be posted at the BCC and on our website by Tuesday, August 4th at 4pm

Cast/Parent Meeting: Thursday, August 6 at 7pm at BCC

Show dates are: Oct. 16-17, and 22-24 at 7pm & Oct. 18 at 2pm.
