Free Charlotte's Web Concerts Begin June 27
at Sinnissippi Park

ROCKFORD IL – Charlotte's Web for the Performing Arts presents diverse music performances, especially in the folk, jazz, and blues genres, at various area venues. The Charlotte's Web Summer Series returns to Rockford Park District 's Sinnissippi Music Shell this summer with three free Saturday concerts on June 27, July 11, and July 25 at 7:30 p.m.

The June 27 concert features Dennis Stroughmatt & Creole Stomp, who travel the country carrying the long tradition of Mississippi River Valley French Creole music to audiences of thousands. They've caught the attention of Creole/Zydeco music fans across the U.S. and Canada, as well as those who enjoy bluegrass, blues, rock, country, swing, and Latin. The public is welcome to come early and bring a picnic supper, or purchase sandwiches, beverages, snacks, and treats from the concession wagon on site.
